Your school is very interested in maintaining a safe environment for students while providing the educational and recreational activities that they need and deserve. However, accidents do happen everyday during recess periods, sports, physical education classes and other school activities.

As a service to the community, the following Florida County School Districts have arranged with School Insurance of Florida to offer parents low cost student insurance protection: Broward County Schools, Lake County Schools, Marion County Schools, Osceola County Schools, Palm Beach County Schools, Pasco County Schools, Polk County Schools, Sarasota County Schools, Seminole County Schools.  These participating schools have distributed student insurance enrollment brochures to all students to take home for parents to review.  School Insurance of Florida can only accept insurance applications from students that are enrolled in the schools listed above.

This website provides answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding the insurance program. If you did not receive a brochure from the school, you can download one from this website. The enrollment brochure describes the student insurance plan benefits, terms, limits and cost. If you are interested in enrolling your child in this low cost protection plan, please download the enrollment form, fill it out and mail with payment to School Insurance of Florida.

The school does not receive any form of compensation from the insurance company. This service is provided as a public service to parents and students in the school community. The student insurance plan may not pay 100% for all medical expenses. The school cannot assume liability for expenses that may be incurred due to a school related injury or any expenses not covered by insurance. The student insurance enrollment brochure describes the insurance benefits that you can receive and the limits and terms of the policy.
